The High Point Award is held annually, points are added up for the years competition and the winner(s) in the end will receive the acknowledgement of being the AFSS's highest achiever for the year, they will receive a trophy and a 'prize', it will then be announced in the quarterly newsletter.
The points system is worked out based on each discipline. The amount of points you receive per outting will depend on your level, your competition and where you place. We aim to make it fair for everyone.
While a horse is registered in your name, the total of points will never expire, each year they will accumaulate until such point that your horse becomes eligible for the Preformance Book. Total amount of points required to gain entry into the Performance Book is 100.
If you are registering a new horse and it has been a regular competitor, you may submit those records (proof will be required), it will be possible to receive starting points towards the Performance Book. These starting points will not go towards the Annual High Point Award.
Each quarter members will be invited to fax or email a copy of the current High Point Card, we will run a live tally here on the website, so members will be able to see where they stand in the current competition, and who are the leaders.
Downloads of the High Point Scoring System and Entry can be found in the downloads section found on the Registration page.
The current leaders in the Annual High Point Award can be seen by clicking the Leader Board link to the left of the page.Page is only updated if members remember to notify us!
